Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the public Degen David site does not collect, what the hosting provider may process, and how the private TikTok publishing workflow handles authorization data.
1. Scope and current setup
This Privacy Policy covers the public Degen David website and the operator's private desktop workflow used to prepare and publish Degen David social content. The project is fictional illustrated entertainment and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.
The public website is a static information site. It has no public accounts, contact form, comment system, payment feature, advertising system, or database.
2. Data from the public website
Information Degen David intentionally collects
None through this website. The site does not ask you to submit a name, email address, phone number, financial information, or social-media credentials.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set first-party cookies and does not include first-party analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral profiling, session replay, or cross-site tracking.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may automatically process technical request data such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, referring page, and diagnostic/security events. Vercel processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy. Degen David does not combine those logs with user profiles or use them for targeted advertising.
3. TikTok authorization and publishing data
When the operator connects an authorized TikTok account to the private desktop publishing workflow, TikTok may return account identifiers, granted permission information, and access or refresh tokens needed to upload and publish content. The workflow may also query creator settings required by TikTok, such as available privacy levels, interaction permissions, and video-duration limits.
That authorization data is used only on the operator's local device to perform requested TikTok API actions. It is not embedded in this website, committed to the public GitHub repository, sold, used for advertising, or exposed in published videos.
The workflow sends the finished video, caption, selected privacy setting, AI-generated-content label when applicable, and required publishing options to TikTok only when the authorized operator initiates or schedules that publishing action.
4. How information is used
Where the companion workflow processes TikTok authorization or creator information, it does so only to:
- authenticate the authorized account and maintain the connection;
- read the publishing options TikTok requires the workflow to honor;
- upload and publish operator-approved Degen David videos and captions;
- check the processing or publishing status and diagnose errors;
- protect credentials and prevent unauthorized publishing.
The project does not use TikTok authorization data to evaluate credit, make financial decisions, build advertising profiles, or train a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model.
6. Storage, retention, security, and deletion
The public site stores no visitor-submitted personal information. TikTok authorization data used by the companion workflow is kept in local configuration only while needed to maintain the authorized connection or until it expires, is revoked, or is deleted by the operator.
Reasonable local safeguards are used to restrict access to credentials, but no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Credentials are excluded from the public site and repository.
To disconnect TikTok and delete locally held authorization data, revoke the app's access in TikTok account settings and remove the local Degen David credential file. Revocation prevents future API access, although TikTok may retain already-published content and its own records under TikTok's policies. A deletion concern may also be reported through the contact route below without posting a token or other secret.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
You may choose not to visit third-party links, may revoke a connected platform's authorization through that platform, and may request information about Degen David's current data practices through the contact route below.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to receive information about a complaint process. Because the public site does not create visitor profiles or accept user submissions, Degen David may have no website data with which to identify you. The operator may request enough information to verify and understand a request without asking for passwords or access tokens.
8. Children
Degen David content and this site are not directed to children under 13, and the public site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The stories may discuss adult subjects such as alcohol, gambling, and financial loss.
9. Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the site, publishing workflow, providers, or legal obligations change. Material updates will be published here and the effective date will be revised. The current version at this URL governs later use.
